ARTICLE 1- The name of the association is determined as Konya Footwear Manufacturers Association (KASD).

Association Headquarters, Address:

ARTICLE 2- The headquarters of the association is in Konya.

Association Purpose:

ARTICLE 3- The association aims to bring together individuals and entities engaged in the footwear industry, contributing to the technical, economic, and social development of the sector. It also works to ensure the sustainable growth of the industry by adopting and promoting knowledge, experience, and innovations that add value to the sector. The association operates in accordance with democratic principles, upholding national unity, sovereignty, and the preservation of the republic, as well as maintaining Atatürk's principles.

Scope of Activities:

ARTICLE 4- The association's fields of activity include:
a) Contributing to the development of the footwear industry, monitoring regulatory changes, and collaborating with relevant authorities to propose solutions to industrial challenges.
b) Organizing training, seminars, and meetings to enhance the professional development of members.
c) Monitoring domestic and international developments in the footwear sector, sharing insights with members, and participating in industry events.
d) Identifying and addressing the essential needs of members through relevant institutions.
e) Communicating members' concerns to authorities and facilitating resolutions.
f) Publishing industry-related research, conducting seminars, and organizing workshops.
g) Arranging industry-related study trips both domestically and internationally.
h) Ensuring harmony among members and strengthening employer-employee relations.
i) Taking measures against raw material supply issues and price speculations.
j) Conducting industrial research in collaboration with public and private sectors.
k) Supporting the establishment of organized industrial zones and providing sectoral knowledge and assistance.
l) Working towards the establishment of training and research facilities for the footwear industry.
m) Leading initiatives on quality standardization and research & development in footwear production.
To achieve these objectives, the association:
· Organizes meetings, exhibitions, trips, and fairs,
· Publishes content,
· Maintains an archive,
· Develops projects and plans, and organizes competitions,
· Opens local offices within the country,
· Establishes or affiliates with professional foundations,
· Becomes a member of international professional organizations,
· Engages in collaborations both nationally and internationally,
· Acquires and sells real estate,
· Establishes economic enterprises to generate necessary revenues.

Operational Principles:

ARTICLE 5- The association conducts all activities within democratic principles, without discrimination based on race, language, religion, or sect, and refrains from political involvement. While keeping track of industry developments, the association maintains a commitment to impartiality and transparency in all its operations.
